ACES author Sandie La Nae will present a talk on the life of Eilley Bowers, the subject of her book Eilley: Riches to Rags at Bowers Mansion at 7 p.m. June 22. Eilley Bowers and her husband, Sandy, were the first millionaires on the Comstock. The lecture will be at the historic Piper’s Opera House in Virginia City. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and tickets are $10 online or at the door.
